Rem is a housemaid with the assistance of lord Roswaal L Mathers, beside her sister, Ram. She is an example of the main helping characters of Re:Zero, with significant functions in Arc 2, Arc 3, and Arc 7.

After Subaru releases her, she comes genuinely in love with him, becoming one of his most faithful followers. Rem will hold with him no matter what occurs, even if Subaru refuses himself.

After becoming awoken from an approaching two-year-long sleep, Rem’s minds were erased, leaving her in a situation similar to that of Crusch. She’s very suspicious of everyone, mainly Subaru, even going as far as trying to kill him double and set up fake paths and traps to get away from him.
